Inverness Street Market, Camden Town
The other market in Camden is still worth a visit…
Though it’s not the market that everyone means when they talk about Camden, a trip down the lively Inverness Street in the centre of the town, when the streets are lines with market stalls selling anything from football shirts, scarves, posters and jackets to fruit and vegetables, is still an hour well-spent.
You’ll have to sift through the junk and make sure your haggling is at its best if you want to make sure you get a decent deal, but most of the time there are a few items worth browsing among the 33 stalls.
Better still, duck in-between the market stalls because behind the music (which varies from stall to stall) and traders Inverness Street boasts a handful of bars and pubs (I recommend Made in Brasil) to keep you entertained.
Inverness Street Market is open all week.
